Tarpaulins for boats and vessels

1. Bimini - Panorama - Tarpaulin

Panorama tarpaulins are made of canvas or, less frequently, lightweight PVC. Sewing is the appropriate technology for the design of the tarpaulin. The individual tarpaulin units are joined together by means of a zip or Velcro. The tarpaulin is attached to the hull with a stainless steel patent. We often incorporate clear PVC window film into the side awning elements to provide an unobstructed view.

A typical phenomenon in panoramic awnings is the opalescence of the side window.  In this case, we can easily replace the faulty tarpaulin element.

2. Boat - Flat boat blanket

PVC tarpaulins are a popular material for body tarpaulins. In terms of design, an 8 mm thick bungee cord is run around the bottom edge of the tarpaulin. This ensures the blanket is kept taut at all times. As the body cover tarpaulin can also be used for transporting the boat, we use additional fastenings to mount the tarpaulin. This connection is usually a bungee cord (less often a strap), which is connected to the transport trailer by means of a hook.

In addition to bungee fastening, stud fastening is also a common request. In this case, a stainless steel stud is fixed to the hull, into which the counter-stud in the tarpaulin is fixed. The tarpaulin construction also makes the boat suitable for storage on the water.

3. Bungee cord body cover (carrier) tarpaulin

PVC tarpaulins are a popular material for body tarpaulins. In terms of design, the lower edge of the tarpaulin is fitted with an 8 mm thick bungee cord running all the way around. This ensures the blanket is kept taut at all times. Since the body cover tarpaulin can also be used for transporting the boat, additional fastenings are used to mount the tarpaulin. This connection is usually a bungee cord (less often a strap), which is connected to the transport trailer by means of a hook.

4. Press-stud boat cover tarpaulin

Panorama tarpaulins are made of canvas or, less frequently, lightweight PVC. Sewing is the appropriate technology for the design of the tarpaulin. The individual awning units are attached separately to the hull by means of a stainless steel press-stud.

6. Winter boat cover tarpaulin

For large vessels, the most optimal and stable solution for seasonal storage on land is tarpaulin storage. The irregular shape of the boat makes it a difficult task for the tarpaulin maker to design the ideal blanket. When making a boat cover, it is very important to have a tarpaulin with sufficient tension, as the wind can immediately damage a loose – flapping tarpaulin. The direct consequence of this is damage to the vessel.

The blanket is made of high-strength, UV-resistant PVC tarpaulin, weighing 680 g/m2. To fix the tarpaulin, we use a special tarpaulin clamp and a rubber band. During the construction, we install ventilation vents in the cover sheet to provide ventilation for the hull.
